Attitude

Want a bass? Do something different—use a tuba! Though I don't play bass, I'm proficient enough on tuba to satisfy any of your bass guitar needs—listen to my work, it speaks for itself. I'd love to bring something a little different to your funk or rock group. Excited to play and, above all, professional.

Influences

Currently performing with my blues band PAPA LEGBA and the Atlanta-based BLACK SHEEP ENSEMBLE Influences include all New Orleans artists (brass bands, Dixieland, Dr. John), folk (Leon Redbone, bluegrass), Tom Waits, Firewater Classically trained, comfortable improvising, performing, composing, or arranging. nearly two decades experience looking for new projects. Familiar with all genres, particularly New Orleans/jazz/blues. Extensive experience reading music, improvising, composing, and arranging. Have recorded and performed on several CDs and concert DVDs, appeared on national television, and performed in some of the nation's greatest concert halls... and bars.

Equipment

Tuba AND sousaphone. Have my own set up for amplification (Ampeg bass amp, D4 mic, clip, chord, etc.)
