Attitude
I am 50+ and my roots are in the British Invasion, Delta Blues and, more recently, lt Country.
For the most part, I like to sing but do not need to sing lead or play lead guitar. (I don't have a "good" voice or many lead guitar chops.) (See My Songs.) The exception is Rolling Stones style covers of Chuck Berry, like "Carol," where I like to do both. I like singing John-Paul harmony as on "I'll Be Back." I play some acoustic country blues and slide, like "Stop Breakin' Down.". And I write and sing songs in an Alt Country derived from songs I like by Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, and Townes van Zandt; "Steve Earle Song": "Untitled Truck Driver Song."
