I'm from Worcester County Massachusetts and I'm looking for peeps anywhere worldwide to join me. That or find awesome like-minded musicians to stay in contact with. As you can see I have a project I'm working on, Acridtia. It's a project that's influenced by early Sepultura, Dismember and Slayer. 3 of my most favorite metal bands of all time. More about me, I've been invested in the metal world for many years. I'm very familiar with the music, culture and the history. I'm ready to make a big step into getting involved with music I'm passionate about. I don't just want to be a fan, I want to create. I've wanted to be a kickass guitarist, but I put the idea off for too long. I started lessons when I was 13-14 years old and abandoned it out of a lack of interest. No point in living in regret now, I've been playing for over 2 years now since I picked the guitar back up in 2018. I expect my band members to be team players. Be down to earth, have a professional demeanor when it comes to the music development and showmanship. Not everything will be serious obviously, this is supposed to be fun after all. Even playing to anywhere from 20 to thousands of people who love our music sounds epic. I also think it's very important that band members actually feel passion for the music they're playing and not treating it as a routine kind of thing. This isn't some boring 9-5 job.
Most of my influences come from the 80's thrash metal scene, 90's death metal and some black metal bands like Dissection, Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir. Early Punk and hardcore bands are up there and I listen to classic rock a lot as well. Bands I dig: Sepultura, Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, Dark Angel, Xentrix, D.R.I., Kreator, Destruction, Sodom, Nuclear Assault, Death, Pestilence, Morbid Angel, Carcass, Napalm Death, Entombed, Dismember, At the Gates, Early In Flames, Demolition Hammer, etc. There's way more...
