Attitude
Heya,
Looking for a melody based musician and/or a percussion/rhythm based musician for live electronic act.
I'm a singer/songwriter with a passion for electronic live performance. I've personally developed alot of experience in various parts of the music industry and I'm also talented in a variety of instruments and my voice (however, other vocalists are welcome to take the lead).
I want to make something that you can dance to, be entertained by and that people can feel a real connection to. I developed by writing music down on paper or electronically, then experimenting with different instruments and techniques over time. Now I want to base it all on live performances, with a really energetic feel.
I'm a very casual acoustic jammer when in a writing session, though I have to be strict, I'm not interested in practising solidly for 2 weeks and stopping or practising on and off for a couple of months. I want some level of dedication, I need someone prepared to give up 3 hours a week, without fail, with some exceptions of course.
The next step is to practise one existing electronic live song into a feasible act, something that we can develop a real persona over before moving onto original material or previously developed ideas.
So, if there's any questions guys, feel free to ask me!
Influences
I've been influenced by metal through to trance and hardcore, I've even fell into the Dubstep-loving trap. I'm not interested in remixs though or covers of elderly metal bands, I'm looking for something original but I'd like to start with covers to develop the routine.
