One of the guys, but still all girl! Prefer to be the alpha bitch in the band but can handle non-girlie girls. Classically trained pianist since the age of four; been studying music for over three decades. Bass is my current focus, also a strong vocalist (tenor/contralto). Have played all wood winds. Trying to form a group that will cover a lot of the harder bands listed below. I've never had much interest in being in the spotlight, so I'm trying to find other instrumentalists who are also vocalists, as I would take lead on maybe three songs tops.
Winger (yes, I'm serious), 80s ladies, Paramore, Haim, The Band Perry, Halestorm, Fall Out Boy, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Sarah Evans, Journey, Styx, The Rolling Stones, Pat Benetar, Saving Jane, Natasha Bedingfield, Pink, Rush, Van Halen, Evanescense, Train, Genesis, Lady Antebellum, Billy Joel, Phil Collins, The Veronicas, Sara Bareilles, Sugarland/Jennifer Nettles, Bon Jovi, Rascal Flatts, Amanda Marshall, Heart, Michelle Branch/The Wreckers, Liz Phair, Sheryl Crow, Jewel, Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Bruce Hornsby, ELO, Garbage, Duran Duran (I'd be lying if I didn't say John Taylor is the reason I took up bass), Black Crowes, Jo Dee Messina, Plumb, Def Leppard, Lacuna Coil, The Pretty Reckless, Fiona...yeah, I think that's enough for now.
Various Yamaha and Korg keys, Fender jazz bass (4-string), Ibanez 5-string bass, Fender Squier Strat, various amps, various mixing boards, various stage and studio mics.
