Attitude

I began playing drums in 1977, and then professionally in 1980 in Long Island NY. I played the professional club and wedding circuits for 20 years, then relocated to Jacksonville, FL. I love and appreciate the importance of a solid beat that locks in with the bass player and drives the band. I'm not an over-player, and love to learn cover songs as close to the recording as humanly possible. I play electronic drum kits because I'm able to replicate any drum sound from any song from any band in any genre. However, I only use real cymbals when practicing or performing live. I'm looking to join an established club band (or very experienced musicians) that wants to play 80s/90s/00s pop-rock music. I feel there is very little difference these days from one Jacksonville cover band to the next, so I want to perform a better selection of songs than what the majority of cover bands here are all playing.
