We have an EP out, recorded with producer Jay Maas (Defeater, Bane, H2O, Polar Bear Club, Counterparts), which you should check out here: www.disparager.bandcamp.com We have only been a band since last year, but we have already been featured on the homepage of BlankTV once, had 2 BlankTV video premieres, substantial press (which we're grateful for) some of which are PureGrainAudio, Diffuse Brooklyn, MetalUnderground, BlankTV, PlanetMosh, etc, played Saint Vitus, The Acheron, Pianos, Desmond's Tavern, played out of state dates in DE and OH, opened for Sworn Enemy, Jaguar Shark, and others. Members have substantial touring experience.. Warped Tour 3 years, countless fests, DIY touring, August Burns Red opening for one of our old bands, touring with Framing Hanley, Mushroomhead, Smile Empty Soul, etc etc... My band Disparager is seeking a new DRUMMER. Our influences are all over the place... Converge, Deftones, Modern Life is War, Defeater, Neurosis, Thrice, Isis, Cult of Luna, Pianos Become Teeth, Junius, Wolves Like Us, Mastodon, Thou, Refused, Isis, E.Town Concrete, Tool, 7 Angels 7 Plagues, Deafheaven, Nothing, Aeges, Quicksand, Helmet, etc etc We're in our 20s. Don't care too much about age differences as long as we're on the same wavelength with goals.
tour experience is a plus, but not necessary studio experience is a plus, but not necessary We're excited to get the ball rolling again. We have a few things in the works... local shows, a new music video (hopefully with you in it), 4-5 day mini-tour later this year, 3-4 week tour in spring, etc etc...
