Attitude

Hello! I'm Fatemeh. I played violin for many years growing up and took it seriously. While I don't play much anymore (but plan on slowly getting back into it), I have been over the last 20 years dabbling in songwriting and more so the last few months have been very active in writing. I mainly use an accoustic guitar with my basic knowledge of chords to create melodies and lyrics. I also have an Epiphone semi-hollowbody that I recently purchased and have been learning how to use. I am currently trying to learn bar chords. I also sing. I don't have a professional voice, but I've had my voice described as "folksy" which I'm satisfied with. I've been experimenting with my voice a bit as well. I have also started recording songs, very amateurly, but I am determined to keep learning. I'm pretty serious about music and would love to find a group that I can write and play with, and maybe one day even perform! Also - my musical taste is very wide and I'm influenced by a lot of things and don't like feeling trapped in one genre, although I am looking for a rock band set up type of basis. In all honesty, I would prefer female musicians, but I'm open.
