Attitude

deally, with two guitarists, we’d be looking for drums, bass, additional vocals (lead or background—preferably lead), maybe keyboards (esp. if we want to go for a more Floyd-ish sound). About us: I’m Kris, 36, orig. from Kansas City; been playing guitar for 23 years. The second guitarist is named Jimmy, he’s 25, orig. from Shanghai, he’s been playing guitar for 6 years. We both live in San Francisco. Our guitar setups are different. I forgo the use of pedals and use a mac with Logic for my effects. Jimmy uses guitar pedals. Neither of us have a vehicle tho, I’m just being honest for the sake of simplicity. Our main mission musically…is not simply to rock the fuck out, but spread good vibes, like they did back in the 1960s. Peace and Love and Fellowship and hanging out and taking drugs with your friends kinda vibes. In post-election America, the people need art desperately now more than ever. If that isn’t enough impetus for artists I don’t know what is. (It is worth noting; we align with people who do have a proclivity for substances of dubious legality, HOWEVER, we are not addicts nor are we dependent on said substances, YOU SHOULDNT BE EITHER.) Perhaps a quick intro in yourself, your instrument, your style of play, influences and what drives you to create music. Influences

The style of music would be considered primarily “psychedelic”; however that isn’t the only genre that influences us. Our main influences being, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Grateful Dead, The Beatles, Jefferson Airplane. A lot of 60s style psychedelic is very much in our DNA.
