I'm flexible. While I do have a certain range of styles for my solo work, I think that any collaboration between artists breeds evolution, and usually in a great way. That being said, while I'm open to just jam and see what comes out of it, I'm not looking to waste too much time. I want something serious that I can really dedicate myself to. Also, I think personal chemistry is just as important as musical chemistry. I also really love to sing.
Too many to list. I enjoy so many different kinds of music, and I've been in everything from jazz ensembles to folk-music groups to symphonic death metal bands. In other words, I have quite a wide range in my musical tastes and singing ability. Favorite artists/bands include (but are not limited to): Tool, Motorpsycho, Opeth, Ella Fitzgerald, Tori Amos, The Ataris, Splashdown, Biffy Clyro, Frente!... The solo stuff I've been working on lately has more of a jazzy, folk-y feel to it, but I'm not afraid of some heavier sounds. Just hard to do it solo.
