THE LEVITES founder and front man, Shedrach Rowry, is an accomplished Songwriter, Musician, Teacher, and Worship Leader. He currently serves as one of the International Urbana Worship Team leaders and has garnered awards from the International Songwriting Competition (ISC), Gospel Music Association (GMA), and The Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) to name a few. As a newly formed group, THE LEVITES made a major splash into the gospel music industry after being dubbed the "Best New Gospel Group of 2004", according to Dorinda Clark-Cole's Singers and Musicians Conference. They went on to make multiple appearances on the Word Network with Dr. Bobby Jones and have made memorable impressions all over the nation playing to crowds upwards of 90, 000 people simultaneously introducing them to the love of Jesus Christ. They released their first project “A Remnant of Levites†in 2006 and their next project "Rescued" will be released in May 2013.
